Our 3SGE /3SGTE trigger unit is a modified distributor with 24-1 trigger pattern and magnetti marelli VR sensor fitted.
This makes for an easy installation of aftermarket ECUS when converting to a wasted spark coil pack distributorless system. No need to mount a trigger wheel to the crank pulley where there is limited space on both the MR2 and Celica variants .

The unit can also be used as a cam phase for sequential ignition rather than wasted spark.
